How does the Prototyping Offer work?
1. You email us a brief description of what you are looking for in a logging package for your site. (A spreadsheet or Word file is fine).
2. We create a fully working prototype of the application to your requirements and make that available to you on a secure web connection.
3. You have a fully working system, that meets your special requirements, in your environment for a period of 30 days.
(You won't have spent a cent, or had to make a commitment or had to download and install any software, or had to configure any software)
Why don't I just check out the software the old way?
You can of course, but the process of implementing software applications can be lengthy, tiresome and expensive. Here are just a few extra things you may have to do before your new system is up and running:
- Find or purchase a computer for the software to run on or get approval for it to run on a corporate server. (You may run into an IT department that is quite protective of this area.)
- Find someone who is good at installing software. Modern software requires many different components and they must all be compatible with your corporate systems.
- Configure the new application to meet your needs. No matter how simple it is, it is going to be new and it will take time to master.
- Iron out all the little quirks that are bound to crop up. Don't kid yourself, no two sites are alike. Your site will have its own special quirks to tame.
- Get the software out to your users. The application may be used by many people and you may need to install it on many computers.
And of course, there is always the dread at the back of your mind that you may have missed something which means there is just a possibility that the whole thing won't work!
Surely there must be an easier way to do this?
That is exactly the question we put to ourselves; and there is.....its called Prototyping. Here is how it works...
- You write a very brief description of what you want in your own words and send it to us in an email,
- We create the application on our web server and give you a special secure (password protected) URL for you to access the software. Any of your authorized users can access the software for a period of 30 days.

OK so who loads the software, configures the software, etc. and how much does all this cost?
We do, we're good at it ... and its free!
So... what if we want to purchase the software and install it on our own servers once the product has proved its worth as a prototype?
No problem, we will deliver your database so that you can get started on your own server where you left off on ours.
But will we really save on this way of doing things.
Yes, it stands to reason. In less than 48 hours, without spending a cent your application is up and running for all your employees to use. After 30 day's use, you can either (i) say thanks but no thanks, or (ii) go ahead and purchase the application with the sure knowledge that it is going to work.
