    jLogbook now running on Linux and Windows Print E-mail
    Big Advantages in going to the Linux Platform
    In addition to running on the various Windows variants, jLogbook is now also available on Linux:

    Marketing manager Dr Nicholas Hurley spoke about the reasons for going to Linux: "With the increasing dangers of virus attacks, many of our customers are now looking for a solution that is less vulnerable to this kind of potential problem. Linux was the obvious answer."

    From a user point of view, the Linux version of jLogbook performs in identical manner to the Windows variants of the application. Conversion of an existing configuratin to the Linux platform is simple and takes a matter of minutes. The Linux version will work with Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQLLite or MySQL. The demo software running on the St Software web site is running on Linux, Apache and PostgreSQL.
