I am getting an error (when I start up jLogbook server) that looks like this Print E-mail

Check that no other program is using port 8080. (The default program for the jLgbookServer)
(Apache Tomcat ... used by Crystal reports also uses this port by default)

You can specify a different port on start up ....for example.
jLogbookserver --port 9090
This will set the server to run on port 9090
