The best way to achieve this is to create a new category called Importance. Here is how you would do this:

1/ Click on the configure link at the top of the jLogbook and then click on the categories link.
2/ Click on the word Priority in the table. (You will see the Priority information in the form.)
3/ Set the Form entry in the form to False. (We are not going to display this in the form.) Click on the Modify Category button.
4/ Click on the Copy Category Button.
5/ Set the name to Importance, the # to 23, the DB Format to String the Default to Normal, the Form to True and the Form Label to Importance.
6/ Click on the Add Category button.
7/ Now click on the Message text in the table. In the form, then change the color category to Importance and click on the Modify Category button.
8/ Just at the base of the bottom of the form above the table, click on the Importance Options button.
9/ When the Options page appears, click on the Add button and add a new option with a code Normal and a description also Normal. Set the List order to 1 and click on the Add option.
10/ Add another option as follows: a code Significant and a description also Significant, the text color to &H0 and the background color to &H00FFFF. Set the List order to 2 and click on the Add option.
11/ Add any other options you would like here.
12/ Now, if you add a new record, you should be able to see the Importance field and is should display in text not number format.
